11+ Assessment Day – Wednesday 2nd October, 9:00am to 3:00pm

Our comprehensive and detailed assessment is tailored to show your child's capabilities along with areas to focus on if you are considering the Manchester Consortium Grammar School 11+ test in 2024 or beyond.

Our 11+ Assessment Day gives children the opportunity to undergo assessments in Maths and English to identify their strengths and areas for improvement. Following the assessment, parents will receive detailed feedback on their child’s performance. This feedback will offer valuable insights into your child’s academic capabilities and provide a clear understanding of how we can support their educational growth.
We are proud of the excellent 11+ results achieved by our pupils, with an impressive track record of pupils successfully gaining admission to local fee-paying Grammar schools. Recent destinations include Bury Grammar, Bolton School, Westholme, Bridgewater and Manchester Grammar.
Event Schedule:
9:00am -Pupil Drop off: Upon arrival, parents and children will be greeted for a meet and greet with the Headmistress, with teas and coffees/refreshments provided. Following this, parents will have an opportunity to have a tour of our wonderful school. Our welcoming teachers will ensure a smooth transition into a positive and encouraging environment for your child where they will be tested on the key skills needed for the above tests.
Throughout the Day Each child will be paired with a ‘Clevelands Prep Buddy’, who will accompany them throughout the day, including break and lunchtimes.
Furthermore, children will be bringing a PE kit to participate in a range of games activities during the day.
3:00pm – Collection: Your child will be ready for collection.
Parents will be provided with detailed feedback on their child’s performance, gain valuable insights into areas of strength, and receive personalised recommendations for their academic journey on the day at collection. Times will be arranged when you are booked in.
All assessments are free of charge and are open for children currently in Years 2 to 5.
