It was a testing time in Reception Class when we explored floating and sinking. The children had to gather together objects from around our classroom and predict what would happen when we put them in the tank of water.

The results were very exciting and very soggy too! Which do you think floated - an apple or a carton of milk? A coin or a pencil?
