Deputy Nursery Manager

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to help lead our exceptional Nursery team. Could that be you?

As our Deputy Nursery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our Nursery, focusing on creating a safe, welcoming, and enriching environment where children can learn, play, and grow. You will work closely with children aged 6 months – 4 years old, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging activities, interactive play, and thoughtful guidance.

About the Role and You

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Working alongside the Nursery Manager to support the day-to-day running of the nursery
  • Promoting and ensuring a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment
  • Supervising and supporting and staff development
  • Assisting with training and appraisals

What you will need:

  • Minimum level 3 Early Years Childcare qualification
  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and regulations
  • Confidence in leading and supporting a team
  • An ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational and skills
